Block Printing Workshop
​
This easy relief printing technique produces prints like linocuts, or linoprints quickly, without using very sharp tools or a press. Instead we work with a printing board that can be simply cut and impressed to great effect. Monochromatic images or multiple layers of colours create strong and beautiful images through inventive and experimental overprinting. Simple abstract designs work well with this technique. Discover a wide range of marks and textures using a range of traditional and unorthodox tools.

This workshop lends itself to being delivered outside the studio as it can be run without heavy printing machinery. It was recently run in Rochester Cathedral.
